Join Mary-Attracta Connolly, soprano, Mark Alderson, baritone, and Graeme Gilling, pianist, for this fun-filled evening of Opera...and more!
Performing frequently with West Australian Opera, Connolly, was thrilled to sing the role of Aunt in the internationally celebrated production of Madama Butterfly directed by the late Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) earlier this year for the UWA Perth International Arts Festival and Alderson will head to Broome following performances as Antonio in WAO’s hilarious production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro directed by Neil Armfield. Pianist extraordinaire, Gilling, coordinator of Keyboard Studies at the UWA School of Music and Principal Keyboard of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, has a penchant for ensemble collaborations and is thrilled to be making his Broome debut in Opera Soirée.
